Reynaers returns as headline sponsor for Façade Design and Engineering Awards

Reynaers Aluminium UK, leading specialist in aluminium windows, doors and facades, is headline sponsor for the Façade Design and Engineering Awards for the second year in a row.

Following directly after the Zak World of Facades London conference, which will host up to 1,000 façade specialists from across the world, the Façade, Design and Engineering Awards will take place on 8th November 2023 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

These prestigious awards are organised by the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineering (CIBSE) and recognise excellence in façade engineering.

As a global manufacturer and supplier of aluminium façade systems, Reynaers offers a wide range of curtain walling systems suitable for a multitude of applications from lower to mid-tier buildings and large scale, complex projects that require bespoke solutions.

John McComb, Technical Director at Reynaers Aluminium UK, said: “The façade industry has delivered some of the world’s most striking buildings. As a company that strives to support architects and construction professionals in achieving the most innovative and sustainable façades possible, we are delighted to take on the role as headline sponsor for such an important awards initiative in the sector.

“We’re committed to championing and supporting such a specialist discipline and being involved in the awards gives us the opportunity to do just that.

“This year’s awards will prioritise sustainability in façade, design and engineering, which Reynaers continues to work hard to support. The sector must place sustainability at the heart of its approach and reward the innovations that are promoting and enabling sustainable building design moving forwards.

“Through our sustainability strategy, Reynaers Act, we lay out our commitment to a more sustainable way of working. At the awards, we will be particularly interested to see the projects that combine sustainable credentials with excellence in aesthetics and performance.”

Rimmy Vij, Chair of The Society of Façade Engineering, said: “Reynaers has been a long-time supporter of the awards since 2015, and this year have further committed support for the awards by becoming the headline sponsor again for 2023. SFE are grateful and proud to have a long-standing relationship with one of the UK’s leading suppliers of innovative and sustainable architectural aluminium systems.”
