Did you know sliding folding doors come with a range of four different thresholds? The options are designed to make it easier to find the weather resistance and styling that’s perfect for your home.
Essentially, the decision boils down to a trade-off between the height of the threshold and weather resistance. Our highest threshold is suitable for those really exposed parts of the home as it offers exceptional weather-proofing.
At the other end of the range our ‘flat bottom solution’ offers a completely flat transition between inside and out. It looks great and would suit bifolding doors that sees a lot of traffic and is sheltered from the wind and rain.
We also have a couple of very popular options in between these two that offer a good level of weather resistance and a threshold that is only slightly raised.
