On a bright sunny day, you’ll want to throw open your bifolding doors and fill the house with warmth and light. But changeable weather means we need to be prepared for all eventualities.
When fitting bifold doors it’s worth considering the different design options available. If all the doors open in the same direction, you might end up having to open two leafs to nip in and out. Might it be handier to have one leaf that opens into the garden in an opposite direction to the rest? That way you only need to open one as a traffic door when the conditions aren’t so spectacular. It might mean not having to expose your home to the worst of the weather.
