The front of this villa, located in Snagov, Romania, looks out across the lake while the rear backs up against the surrounding forest.
To capture both sensational views the designers decided to fit large aluminium window systems to the house, and to ensure the property blends effortlessly into the landscape. Various types of stone and timber have been used in its construction.
The aluminium window systems fitted on the lake-side of the villa include an eleven-metre-long section, which is entirely glazed to maximise the intake of light and the panorama of life on the water.
