Pinterest is a photo-sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections known as boards.

How does it work?

Users create a profile and can browse other virtual pin boards for images. They can ‘follow’ the boards they’re interested in or ‘follow’ the person who created the board (in which case they automatically follow all that person’s boards).
