Aluminium window systems: five different style options

When choosing glazing for a new self-build home, an extension or perhaps the extensive renovation of an older property, the chances are you’ll want your windows and doors to help create an overall aesthetic that is stunning and unique.

Reynaers at Home’s aluminium window systems come in a range of styles, enabling you to choose aluminium windows and doors that not only offer industry leading performance, but also complement the design you want for the rest of the house.

Here are a few of the style options we offer:

Functional

A contemporary and sleek frame option. Simplicity is the key. Functional design is constructed using flat aluminium sections to give doors and windows a clean, crisp, look. It remains our most popular bespoke glazing style.

Renaissance

Combining the strength and performance of modern materials with a design sympathetic to a traditional building style, Renaissance doors and windows feature fluted edges to complement design features elsewhere in the home.

Softline

With a smooth, modern exterior, Softline offers a clean, contemporary look that, as its name suggests, is just softened a little by having rounded edges rather than the square corners found on the Functional style.

Hidden Vent

Designed to satisfy minimalist cravings, the Hidden Vent option ‘hides’ the opening part of the window (known in the trade as the vent) behind the outer frame. When closed, you just see a single flat section of outer frame.

Slim Line

The inherent strength of aluminium makes it possible for us to design windows with a very narrow frame. This is epitomised by our Slim Line design options, which are most popular for period properties where the sightlines of old steel single glazed windows need to be replicated.
